Where are you from?

Both my parents separately immigrated from Europe (originally from the Baltic States - Latvia) after WWII to Australia and meet in a migrant camp and married.

What languages to you speak?

English and Latvian

What is your professional background?

• Originally Carpenter by Trade (following my father who was a Builder/Carpenter)
• Warehousing /Logistics
• Product Sourcing / Purchasing
• Store Management
• IT Management
• Product Development Management / Business Consultant.

Are there any sports teams you cheer for?

• Atlanta Hawks / Las Vegas Aces
• Sydney Kings (Australian NBL)
• San Francisco 49ers

What is your preferred movie Genre and favorite movie?

• Western / Adventure
• No specific favourite

Favorite childhood memory?

Family gatherings at Christmas time

Where would you like to travel to?

During my working career I have travelled widely in Scandinavia, Europe and Asia – with additional trips to England, USA, Canada. I would still like to travel to experience the Northern lights (aurora borealis)

Anything else you’d like to share about yourself?

• I am 67 years young – semi retired (periodic contractor for product development)
• Still participate in weekend basketball scrimmages
• My tag is “MuzaHawk” as my nickname is “Muza” in relation to my first name – Maris and my surname in my parents language means “Hawk”

2)  If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, living or dead, who would that be?

Jennifer Aniston

3) What's something about you that would be surprising to know?

I played Domestic competitive wheelchair Basketball for 5 years (able-body ranking)

4) What's something that you've always wanted to try, learn and/or accomplish?

Playing a musical instrument

5) What is one thing you can't live without?

Memories

6) If you had to eat the same meal every day for the rest of your life what would it be?

Sashimi

7) What is your favourite song?

Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin

8) What's the strangest thing you've ever done?

Tried numerous local “exotic” foods eg silkworm pupae

9)  After Inspector Gadget, what was your favorite cartoon as a kid?

Inspector Gadget was not around when I was kid – we had Disney Cartoons / Looney Tunes / Tom and Jerry / Jetsons / Flintstones .

10) Who's your favorite comic book character?

Asterix

11)  If you could pick any superpower, what would it be and why?

Read peoples’ minds – then I would know what they are really thinking and if they are truthful / sincere.

Tell Us About your Connection with Gamisodes and Digital Collecting

1) What cartoons or nostalgic tv shows would you like to see on Gamisodes next?

Futurama / Simpsons / SpongeBob SquarePants – not sure how they would translate into NFT cards though. Batman: The Animated Series might be an option.

2) If you could decide on the next new Gamisodes Inspector Gadget collection, what would it be and why?

As the other characters do not have anywhere near the same variations as Inspector Gadget and Brain, maybe a collection combining some of the other main characters Penny, Chief and associated transport / Dr Claw, Mad-Cat and the henchmen etc. and associated transport. And especially the ability to merge and level-up duplicate Gadget Trading Cards.

3) Who’s your favorite Inspector Gadget character and why?

Brain – he is the most entertaining with all his different disguises and antics

4) What is your favorite episode or memory about Inspector Gadget and why?

Enjoying watching my 2 sons entertained by his adventures (16 years apart now 46 and 30)

5) If you could pick the next Mission location(s), where would it/they be and why?

Would it not have to be relating to Independence Day? Alternatively in view of the King’s Coronation in England – Buckingham Palace

6) What is/are your favorite Gamisodes collection(s) so far? Why? Of those collections, what are some of your favorite cards/collectibles? Why?

Super Rare and Original [Brain] Costumes as they are true to the original episodes

7) There are thousands of other digital collectibles and communities out there. Why did you decide on Gamisodes?

I started with Gamisodes Jul, 2022 (I was drawn in by the nostalgia and the prospect of being part of the gamified episode beta gameplay experience). Prior to that I started with TopShot (NBA/WNBA) – March 2021, then joined Tibles Nov, 2021 (with Seussibles!, Fraggle Rock and OneShots – Valiant Comics)

8) Is there a Gamisodes card or collectible you don’t have yet and are anxious to add it to your collection?

9)  What attracted you to digital collectibles vs physical?

They are easier to handle, store, transfer and not damage
